Babeland Body Massage Cube

I’m a fan of massages, most people with back problems are, that should go without saying. Lately, my partners and I have been testing out oodles of different massaging techniques and oils, so of course I jumped at the opportunity to review the Babeland Body Massage Cube. I chose to review the blackberry vanilla musk scent, and squealed with delight once I received it in the mail. The cube smells so incredibly wonderful that I sat smelling it for about 15 minutes before actually putting it to use.

The cube came in a silvery box with a ribbon wrapped around it. Once I opened the box, I saw my cube sitting all nice and wrapped in blue foil, and once I got passed the foil there was my cube, wrapped all nice and pretty in what felt like parchment paper. The cube is made of very simple ingredients: shea butter, cocoa butter and fragrance. After unwrapping the cube, I decided it was time to test it out.

My girlfriend was kind enough to offer her back to me and the cube, for reviewing purposes only of course :P The cube melts pretty easily and leaves a semi-oily trail of wonderful smells. While rubbing the melted parts of the cube onto her back, I noticed that I needed to re-rub more of the cube onto her because it didn’t seem to soak into the skin as much as I would have liked. I also noticed that after the massage, her back had a greasy feeling to it. I was confused because while rubbing her back it seemed to dry out, but it just stayed on top of the skin and greased up.
